It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

I don't care about drugs or if some tribe or another in the nation thinks it's ok to murder their unborn... I don't care about a war on terror that takes away any of my freedoms... Don't mind spending the money to kill terrorists somewhere else or hunting em down and killing em here but don't want to be frisked at airports or stopped in roadblocks over it.

I don't want to be told if I can smoke or eat fatty foods or if I need to wear a seatbelt or a helmet or a firesuit... I don't want words banned or anything banned unless it can be proven a physical threat to someone else.

All that stuff is crap and used by politicians to build government and power and tyranny..

I wish the parties would stop compromising with each other and start leaning more toward libertarian and individual rights ideas.   both parties seem to want to be more involved in my life (for different reasons) when I want em less involved.   I don't care what someone else does if it doesn't harm others.

I don't feel I have saved the world if I pass a law to ban dildos or if I give women the right to murder their unborn... I don't feel safer or better off if I take guns away from my fellow of if I have everyone searched.

I don't think teachers are saints and I think we are getting cheated with public schools.

Quick question.  Does this repeal of the DC gun ban become retroactive for all those who may be in prison on felony gun ownership charges?

Nope laser it should have no effect. One of the provisos of being a convicted felon is the loss of that civil right. Weapon possession not just ownership is prohibited without a court order reinstating it.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

could be.  try finding out what happened when the ratification of the 21st amendment repealed the 18th amendment and the Volstead Act was repealed.  what happened to all the moonshiners and smugglers and speakeasy operators that were in jail?

Hey, I got a ticket for doing 65 in a 55 zone and then they changed it 5 years later to 70! I want those points off my license!

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

I'm not talking about future ownership of guns, but those that are in jail right now.

If they were unconstitutionally put in jail, shouldn't they get out?
