heh the elder days of aces high for there are none now left who remember.

but I even remember this mission of four chogs after all this time but only after I was reminded of it.

the most amazing part was surviving with all 4 corsairs intact even after an escape with a large pissed off enemy force determined to get vengence for 30 deaths :D
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

I miss those days. I miss the old pizza. I miss night time in the MA. I miss having fuel burn set lower. Most of all I miss teh sheep.
I loved going on long missions like that. Now days you are lucky if your mission last a total of 40 mins. I remember flying missions in my P-51 that were almost two hours long. Flying escort for a deep HQ bombing raid on Trin. You would fly the whole mission hands on. When you landed your palms were sweaty and you would be trimbling slightly. You would spend 20 mins in the tower re-calling the mission to your fellow squadies as if they were not even there. Telling them how you smoked two 163s..Damn good times.
I am glad this thread was brought back to life. It brought back good times in AH. Thanks.
