Sunday Night Scramble (this Sunday!!!)

Have a cold one and concentrate on the event, MGD.
We are all big boys and girls and will figure it out.
At least those who are serious about attending.
The rest can file all the necessary protest forms in the round file. :D
See you Sunday.

That's my point.  New York is now on Daylight Saving time.  When a New Yorker sees "9 PM" on their clock tonight, it will not be 9 pm EST but rather 9 PM EDT.

If you really mean that the event is at 9 pm EST, then New Yorkers should be showing up at 10 pm according to their wrist watches.

Yes, American's generally know, when you say "meet you at 9 pm Eastern time" what time that is.  People in other countries sometimes need to know whether you are talking about EDT or EST, though, as they don't know when the US regions change from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time and vice versa.

So, I'm just asking to be clear -- do you really mean 9 pm EST?  I think you mean 9 pm EDT.  But, if you really do mean 9 pm EST, I'll be showing up when my clock says 10 pm Eastern time (as I'm on Daylight Saving Time along with most of America).

Why not solve the problem by specifying the time as GMT. That way everyone works from the same reference point.

why not give both times.  EDT and GMT.  Redundancy will help spot errors.

Kermit can't tell time anyway

I agree, Zulu is universal
Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Ok all the work is done.  It's up to all of you to show up, get in a flight, & have some friggen fun!!!

I ask that you respect the pilot next to you as he will be trying to clear your six later in the frame :)

Remember this all.  This is not a squad based event.  We are trying to create something everyone can enjoy.  If you feel you can help the side CO please let him know.  I know they are looking for help from all of you.

My plan is to let the AH community create this event so in short the "golden rule" is in effect.  Over the years I have been impreased time and time again with this crowd.  I know we can make this into something outstanding!!!

Hope Everyone Makes It!!!
