AH actions - which can be mapped to scaled/variable inputs
« on: March 20, 2007, 11:38:47 PM »
Apart from the expected x,y,rudder, throttle etc,

What other actions can be 'usefully' mapped to a scalable/variable input (like an joy-axis, wheel or 'pot').

I know you can always use BANDED, but the one I am really wondering about is:

Brake & L/R Brake - are they instant on/off or can they be mapped to a scalable input eg so that 75% left brake can be applied.

Any other useful ones ? eg do the engine actions of Manifold and Prop(?)-feather actions work in increments when mapped to a wheel?.. or do u  have to do them as banded?

Thanks

Finn

Along with some view functions, all of these can go on a scalable analog input...

Brake Both
Right Brake
Left Brake
Pitch
Roll
Yaw
Throttle 1
Throttle 2
Throttle 3
Throttle 4
RPM 1
RPM 2
RPM 3
RPM 4
Aileron Trim
Elevator Trim
Rudder Trim
Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
