Did they make all crewmembers "fat American" stereotypes?

At least SH2 and SH3 didn't have big time show stoppers. SH4 is full of those. SH3 was a good investment right off the bat - There wasn't any absolutely annoying bugs. SH4 on the other hand has me totally annoyed.

btw. it seems to be easier to sink a CV than cargo ships - 1 or 2 torps are enough to sink a CV, but you'll be lucky to sink a cargo ship.

At least it's now possible to sink warships bigger than destroyers (I mean, you'll actually meet them on regular basis). It's not uncommon to find a cruiser. I've even seen a BB, but it was too far and heading away. I met a CV fleet when returning back to port - Fortunately I had some torps left and managed to sink 3 CV's and heavily damaged a heavy cruiser.

I shot a salvo of 4 torpedoes right off the bat at the biggest CV in the fleet. Soon after one torpedo explodes prematurely, then another and then third. By now I'm totally annoyed and cursing loudly, as only one torpedo is headed to the target and I'm sure it's not enough. A minute or two after the impact I take a second look at the CV - It was about to flip over! A single torpedo sunk the 2nd biggest CV in the entire japanese navy.

The other two were rather easy because they kept doing circles and the escorts didn't do anything while I was reloading torpedoes and picking off the cherries.
