The Text Check Six

I am unable to use my microphone on the computer I normally play on. Everyone seems to know how to do this but me: How do you give a text message Check Six to another flyer? You know, the one that pops up in white letters.

I rarely have time in a fight to type out some kind of warning message.

Aim yourself at the player and hit the ' key.

The ' key left of ENTER will send a check6. It will be sent to the gameID in the center of your view.
Tapping the ' key again will move it to another icon and stop tapping it when it's highlighted the gameID icon you want to warn.

Thanks, guys. So that's how you do it.

I'd seen the key command but couldn't figure out how it worked. I'll give it a try next time up.

As an aside, quite some time ago, before I even knew there was a key command for it, I accidentally sent a Check Six to someone. Never could figure out what I did to do that.

Just one other thing, sometimes I find that I am trying to give a check 6 text to someone maybe in a side or even rear quarter view and try as I might I can't seem to latch onto the one I want. In the end some poor friend gets a check 6 I didn't intend and I have to follow up with a Sorry!

I wish it would cycle through until off because once you start , you have to call someones 6

In that sitiuation you can look in any direction that is empty of friendlies and press the ' key to cancel any ch6 being sent.

Good grief! a simple solution like that!  That should save me some embarassment, thanks
