But will it? I have an Airfix model at home of an HE 111 (I know its probarbly all wrong, but hey im using it as its th eonly source of insperation). Didnt it have a Ventral gun, a top turret, a nose gun and left and right Fusalage guns? It gives it a wider arc of fire than the 88's whic id just behind and below 6. I think it would be able to defend itself better. Like I said, I may be wrong

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

Depends on the version. There were a lot of modifications for the He111H. One of the more common had a 7mm flex mounted in the nose, a 7mm flex mounted in the dorsal position, a 7mm flex mounted in the rear ventral, and depending on the version an MG/FF flex-mounted in the forward ventral (the guy in the gondola would operate either gun as needed), but its arc was somewhat limited.

I know some had the side guns, but I think they were often removed because they weren't effective (firing through tiny windows). I don't know the specifics of that bit of info.

Well, the Ju88's guns can all fire rearward, the He111's setup is usually regarded as lighter than the Ju88. One of the most common setups just had 3 7mm guns, to the Ju88s 4 guns, plus the rear ventral on the 88 is a twin mount (more damage).

I think all in all, it will be more vulnerable to enemy attack than the Ju88.

I think, however, that it will make up for this fact in sheer "cool" power. Hell, lack of guns doesn't stop folks from rolling Bostons, does it? :P

lol, true. The HE 111 was a devestating weapon if used right. I think its going to give another multi purpose bomber, cv hunter, plus even spotter plane with the glass nose. Would make it easy to spot gvs if flown low.

I would love to see the HE-111 in this game.  I know it will be lightly defended, but then again, that doesnt stop me from upping Stukas either.

I just can't wait to see that whole glass nosed cockpit. I was hopping we could have a perk load on the He-111. TheHs-293. I had an idea on how it could be controled. In RL you had to stay in a straight path to guide it. In AH you would use your bomb view (F6) and you would guide the missile with your cross hairs. You would still have to fly kinda straight like in RL because your in the bomb view. The way you would aim it, is by the computer. Right now in AH you can click on your clipboard and get an altitude of a base, and then calibrate for speed. Will with the guided Hs-293 perk ordance, the guidence would have these settings. Would have have to bring up the clipboard and click your target. If it was a ship then you click the water, and if it was a base you your click the base. To set the target you would have to be closely flying in the right direction. You would hit U then guide your cross hairs to your target and hold Y for 2seconds. Then it bring up this information. Will something like this.

Altitude of target: 0ft
Altitude of rocket: 7,523ft
Range from target: 7.3K
Fuel Remaining: 20 seconds
Heading of target: 005
Heading of rocket: 005
Speed of rocket: 390mph

With these settings you would have to look at these readings to guide your rocket into maybe a CV or Ammo bunker. These rockets were used against ships. Another site. Hs-293 Other Site

Yes, sorely needed an HE-111 for some time. My second vote is torn between B-25 and P-39, though.

He111 would not hurt my feelings at all.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.
