AH wont save joystick...or views

I recently formated and reloaded my computer I down loaded a fresh copy of 104-3 and installed . I also saved my settings folder from my previous installation and loaded it over the settings folder in the fresh download.. All of my views etc are working as they were before...but I cant seem to set the joystick or save any new views (they always return as before when I shut down AH). All of the old settings are the same...any ideas? Should I reinstall AH and reset all views etc.... thanks

PropNut,

You should use explorer and look at the properties of that settings folder and the files that are in it.  Be sure none of them are set to "read only" status.  That would cause the problem you are seeing I think.
