How could an aircraft that saw service in every combat theater in WWII not be selected?

Toads Dad flew one......it belongs here for him. Skin of the B25 toads father flew in post by me titled my choice. Ya folks...it actually flew with a members father at the controls in the left seat. Need more be said?
