Molders here,

Ok heres the SCOOP....

I have a Cel500 (unclocked)
128 Ram
Riva TNT2 Ultra 32meg card (un tweaked)
DX 7.0a

I have tried 2 things
AH at 1078 Res 32bit graphics
Falcon 4.0 1078 Res!!

I Play Falcon 4.0 and Aces High lots ok so i began with the default drivers (Creative Labs) for the Vid card. Now i get 25+Fps on Falcon 4.0 which is great never lower but higher than that.
Now when i play AH i get 14 Frps   even at 20k where the Frps should pick up..

Now when i change Vid drivers to Nvidia Detonator 3 W9x-613. In Falcon 4.0 i get 5 Frps!!!!
And in AH i get 30+Frps WTF!!!!   This is so confusing and brain draining that im this close <---> to throwing the whole thing out the window!!! Any response to my DELEMIA would be great Thxs

MOLDERS OUT!!!

Yep... drivers are very important.  nVidia has had some issues like this lately with their unified drivers.  As others have suggested, try different drivers.  Also, don't just update them.  I'd try removing what you have and using "standard vga", then reboot.  Now try installing your new drivers.  You may have more luck that way.

I'm really glad I got my V5.

Change your video card to "standard VGA" type, reboot, then reinstall your video card drivers.

Also check to see what your refresh rate for your monitor is.

Hey Staga, how does your FSAA look?  Do you use it?  Check out a page I slapped up to demo FSAA to the other Pigs:   http://users.andara.com/~sconrad/fsaa/

FSAA is where it's at baby.
