Having fooled around a bit with the M-8 I think the M-18 would be a logical addition. It's got a 76mm gun so it wouldnt be a "perk ride" {or shouldnt be}. It could travel at 75 mph and shoot at 45mph. would be a logical anti spawn weapon since it could move fast enough to defend spawn from Vbases....

I think that's an excellent idea, it would be something like the Tiger compared with the Panzer.
Some 2507 were build, not a bad figure at all :aok

Oh btw, the M-18 would do 115 km/h during test trails (69mph) but they restricted it to a 52mph
Still, a heck of a fast ride for 76mm of cannon!

what about a Puma? May be a bit too similar to an M-8...

M-8 vs Puma would be a blast tho :)

There were 4 different versions of the Puma that were built. All 4 had a different gun. Here are the numbers.

SdKfz. 234/1 - 20mm KwK 38 L/55          
220 (approx.) built between
SdKfz. 234/2 - 50mm KwK 39/1 L/60        
101 built between
SdKfz. 234/3 - 75mm KwK 37 L/24    
88 built between June and December 1944
SdKfz. 234/4 - 75mm PAK 40 L/48    
89 built between December 1944 and March 1945

Either one would be a great addition to the game.  There were plenty of then in the field, and they made quite a contribution to the war effort.

Puma would be a good alternative based on how you build out the set. you could also do a russian 57mm in an M-3 chassis. Right now the only vehicle you can deploy to a spwan is an M-8 (speed and firepower). Any of the above would combine some ability as a tiger killer and be effective vs "normal" tanks. Basically your creating a mobile AT gun capability that can be reasonably deployed. Any combination of M-8 type speed and a "good" gun would do just fine....

..resulting in completely abandoning the M-8 :D

They only advantage the M-8 will have, is abit more speed (60mph instead of about 50mph)
