Agreed.  That (and a few others) gave me insight into how the A-26 Invaders were used, at least in ETO, late in the war.

He mentions the 6 nose guns and 8 in gun pods under the wings.  One of the early modifications was to put six internal guns in the wings, 8 in the nose, and swap out the canopy for one with better visibility.

I wonder if the author of that story ever went through the refit?
