I posted these photos here (Click) but I thought I would make a formal request for a new Yak skin here.

As stated in the link, the aircraft is a Yak 9U flown by Major Ivan Nikiforovich Stepanenko who scored 40 victories on the Baltic Front.

At this stage, I cannot find any more information of interest. I can, however, provide more photos if required (I am trying to find a detailed photo of the upper wing surfaces).

So any Yak pilots out there who want a new skin for their ride...... Here you go!

I think there are major hurdles to skinning the Yaks in this game.

That aside,

It's a restored warbird. More often than not, they're not historical. I think if you could get some other references to back this paint scheme up, you'd have a better shot at convincing folks to skin it

According to the aircraft details at the show and the articles I have read about it, it is a faithful reproduction. Unfortunately, that is all I can offer.
