Blades of Glory

My wife and I only get out to the Movies about twice a year.  Last night we saw Blades of Glory; it was absolutely stupid and over the top.  That’s why I loved it; my wife thought it was funny too.  If you like stupid movies; go see it.

At first, it looked very corny.  But now I kind of want to see it.

How does it stack up against  The Legend of Ron Burgundy?

I allways thought that if they could get the cast of News Radio back together that Will Ferrel would make an adequate replacement for Bill McNeal.

Better than Ron Burgundy.  It wasn't just stupid humor, it had a lot of great dry stuff too.

(Character has three small tattoos on his back) "They call me the illustrated man".

Awesome.

Just got back from Blades of Glory, and I was extremely unimpressed.  Sure, there were some very funny parts, but at other times I just felt like the movie was akward and weird.  Definately no Anchorman or Old School....I fear Will Farrell has lost his green hat.

I want to see it.

Probably has oddball team put together that does horribly at first, then an evil character wants to take over the sport somehow, and they skate their blades off to win the day in the end.

But dont ruin it for me!

   I love stupid.
