Gunthr for a more detailed explanation of kazaa's smart arse answer.

During the day its mostly xxx/200  when this upper limit is reached say 170+  it  forces it back to  xxx/120  making others to fill up the second LWA.

once the second arena gets up to say 100+/120  the other arena gets put up to 170    then  rinse repeat.

Before everyone piled into the one big arena that was allegedly detrimental to gameplay.  My only complaint is we have the same boring small maps in rotation.  Whereas some of the large ones were fun, interesting.....

When one arena reaches a certain percentage, (75% capacity IINM), the cap in the other arena increases. When the second arena hits that percentage, the cap in the first arena increases as well.

As one arena loses players, it causes the cap to decrease in the other, which is how you get 150/125.

I'd add that arena caps and multiple arenas split up many of the squadrons in the game as well.

Be interesting to see what a single LW arena with no cap and some of the larger maps added to rotation would look like.
