we called them crawdads in the 60's when we'd fish for them in the N.O.'s canals with kite string and a piece of raw bacon or hotdog. I can remember bath tubs full of them.

So how old were you before the family stopped using you for crawdad bait?

My MIL is a bigot and has a hard time keeping her bigoted opinions to herself even to the point of making slurs in the house of her family. This is unpleasant given that the family consists of those she disparages. I don't put up with it. She was put out of my home and later decided her granddaughter wasn't good enough to visit. She has calmed down a bit after a bad cardiac experiance and now wants to spend time with her family. I stay with the RV and the wife drives over to visit so I don't put a damper on what time they have together.

We're trying to figure out where we'll go depending on fuel prices. They got close to $3.00 pretty darn early this year. :(
