HT, I took a subscription when the game left beta but dropped it after a month (February 2000).  My thought was to check back after the game developed further.  

The game bloody well has developed further so, anticipating 1.05 and carriers, etc, I signed up for a trial last weekend. No luck.  Best I can figure, the trial is not an option for me because I subscribed formerly.  Is that correct??  If so, isn't there any way us erstwhile subscribers can check out the online game again???

As i understand it pay to play again  
But seriously if you pay and play for 2 - 3 days or even 1 or 2 weeks i believe if you then cancel you get a proportionate amount of your money back.
BUT,  i could always be wrong !

I think both of you are correct:

1.  If you have every used the 2 week trial before, you don't get another one.

2.  If you cancel your account part-way through a month, HTC will refund the balance of the month.
