Game woent load

Ok been gone for a little while. Camoe back started game it said it had to patch fine. I let it patch. It gets done I try to start game and I get a black screen then the notice telling me there was an error and the program will close. I said n to reporting it. Tried again. I got it to load but half way to catching the planes it did the same thing. Ok so I download a whole new copy delete the currnt install and reinstall. Now I cant even get to catch the planes. Help

This is normally related to the video card and/or video acrd driver.  If you could post the section of information from a DXDIAG output about the video card, it would help.

Dang it I installed the new drivers now computer woent load says theres a miss or corrupt file and to reinstall it now have to redo XP completley oh well it was time to upgrade any ways.

New drivers are not neccessarily the cure.  In some cases, you do not want to use the latest drivers.  For instance, if you have a 5000 series NVidia card, or older, you will get the best performance and stability from the 61.77 drivers.  If you use the latest drivers with the 5000 series cards, you will have a lot of quirky issues.
