What is wrong with constructive criticism?  Granted, some have bordered on calling HTC names (the "hangars moved" guy), but outside of that what's the problem?  Or are people just enjoying being internet tough guys?

If you have anything even remotely negative to say about the new version or patch, you get labeled a "whiner".

Using that logic, and bringing myself down to that level (for a brief moment, unsavory as the experience is)  anyone who likes the new version and patch with no reservations at all, with nothing but kind words for The Creator, and Offended by any Question of what They have Provided must in turn be devoted lapdogs.

There has been only one feature in AH that I disapproved of and that's the hand holding auto-retracting flaps that HT put in the game for those that aren't coordinated enough to raise the flaps on their own.

EVERYONE has thew right to gripe or  complain about any portion of the game they dont like.

The people who complain about whiners are doing nothing short of whining themselves.
Even moreso then the people they are calling whiners.

If they dont like seeing the complaints.
These holyer then thou mental midgets should STFU and just ignore the  threads and posts they dont like.
And if they dont like it.
Then maybe they should follow their own advise and go someplace else

It's not that I'll never be happy, it's just that I'm occasionally disappointed.

I whined when the arenas were split and we lost the big maps.  I'm still disappointed that we don't have the big maps anymore but I could care less about the arena split.

I'm disappointed now with the terrain changes.  I think it's less realistic than before but I'll give it a chance hoping for further development.

Any time there are big chages like this the community seems to polarize into two camps, those who like the changes and those who don't.  Soon  both sides seem to dig in and then the name calling and character assasinations begin.  

I didn't used to post on the BBs much before the arena split/loss of big maps/blue line experiment.  When I finally did start reading the boards and posting I began wondering if I had joined the wrong community.  It got pretty vile for a while there as it seems to be getting again.  I guess it's just a normality when there are major changes as I've found the BBs to mostly be a fun and informative place to hang out.

Every one is entitled to their opinion whether you agree with it or not and, in the long run, both viewpoints will contribute to a better experience for all of us.

I guess I'm missing the point of what the name calling and character assasination adds to the discussion other than trying to run off someone with a different opinion.  For my part I'll ignore that, both for and against.  It's just not my style.  I will however feel free to post my opinions even if they aren't the most poular and no, I'm not going anywhere.
