using 2 joystics - is it possible?
« on: February 12, 2001, 12:11:00 PM »
Hello,

I have 2 joystics - 1 is on Game Port and the other on USB port. Each of this joystics are cheap and has something that other doesnt. One has HAT switch (very important in AH) other has Throttle control (also very important in AH). I have found out that in AH u NEED to have Rudders. I dont. But....

If I can make 2 joystics work at the same time it will solve all my problems, like having 1 joystic as pitch and roll with hat switch and second joystik for rudders with throttle control.

Thank you in advance

P.S. plz dont make suggestions like: go and buy Sidewinder PRO - there are NO good joystics availlable in here :-(

Yep, should work.

First, get them both setup, calibrated, and working in Windows.

Then, use the very flexible AH joystick setup to map each control to whatever axis of each stick.

Should work fine.

Thanx a lot, :-) it really does WORK!!! and it works great. Exept I have to glue it or nail down to the table, :-]

I am allmost happy now... Will be more happier when it will be possible to buy 1 good joystick that has everything, but....

Well some folks like the Saitek x36 HOTAS setup, it has a stick and the throttle, one for left hand one for right,  I bought the ctborg Gold because I have big hands and the x36 doesent fit well for me, but I hear its great.
