Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses in which an affiliate is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts. Compensation or commission may be made based on a certain value for each Impession (CPM), click (Pay per click), registrant or new customer (Pay per lead) or (Cost Per Acquisition / CPA), sale (usually a percentage, Pay per sale or revenue share), or any combination of them.

No I haven't but good luck if you do.

being an affiliate to any website is not easy money... even porn.  its hard work just like any job and may take years to pay off just like any business.

Some advice:

1) ONLY become an affiliiate if you get a cut of the ongoing subscription.  2$ seems a bit low to me.

2) What promotion materials are they going to provide you with?

3)  Your best traffic will come off of search engines and only 2-3 matter...(you know which).

4) some people make a 100k a year doing the affiliate thing but they have spent years and countless hours working on it.

5) if you have money, you can buy payed spots and even buy traffic but making it convert can still be a problem.

I used to on my old website (not HTC) and its not easy money at all, but if your site is well visited and you make sure your ads has something to do with what the site is about you should make enough to cover the cost of running your site plus abit of pocket money.

I made about 100-200 USD a month depending on the season (alpine skiing site)

We have a fitness related belt so the sites we pay do best if they are related to that.

I pay $65 an order to an affiliate marketing company.  So I would guess they are taking $5 or so.... and the affiliate site probably gets $60.
