yea it would be cool because the ports are pretty much useless and you could use the seaplane bomber from the CV.  I think the PB2Y was a modded version of the B-24. Does my idea sound good to anyone?

The only thing the PB2Y and the B-24 had in common was they were both built by Consolidated. Due to the different missions and requirments they were designed completely different.

I think you're confusing the PBY2 with the PB4Y-1, which was a modified B-24 used to for anti-shipping/ASW.
