AH Crashes
« on: April 16, 2001, 10:07:00 PM »
It's not your every day crash, but when ever I play AH, about 5-10 minutes into it, my screen goes black, then my monitor turns off.

It's as if my video card turns off.

I'm using 7.58 WHQL NVIDIA Drivers, ASUS GeForce 2 7700, Abit BH6 P3-550. PC-100 Micron SDRAM. SBLive. CH stuff. Windows ME. Dx8.0a

I've got the latest drivers, bios, and all Windows updates.

Please help.   Discos suck.

This is not a "disco", but sounds like a power problem.

What are you using for a power supply?  How many deviced/hard drives are connected to it?

I've got a 300W power supply.  I recently yanked a Elsa GeForce DDR out and put this Asus 7700 in with bad results.

I have 1 hd, 1 floppy, 1 Cd, 1 CDR. That's it.

I'm going to put the DDR back in tonight to see if the problem returns.
