What type of plane's cockpit is that? It looks like part spitfire, part F-4U/P-38G part Bf-109 K-4

It doesn't look at all like a 109.

I would suggest that it is a F4U 1 - C

Note the size, shape and positioning of the Gunsight. It reminds me of the gunsight on the Bf-109.
