Squaddie asked me earlier today if I had any clue why he selects one skin, that it shows up as another to everyone who see's him? I had no clue, so here I am.

I wasn't sure that he had the right one selected, so I sent him a join request, and checked it out. He told me earlier that everyone tells him his plane is silver, and he's got a green skin selected.

He's flying the 51D, and he has the 357FG/363FS by Warhound (Green)selected, when I joined his plane it showed 31FG/308FS by Fester (Silver).

Any ideas?

1) They don't have that skin downloaded and are seeing the default

2) They checked the "disable skin" box and are seeing the default.

It's not a default skin on either party's screen. That's what I originally thought too though.

He sees the green skin on his end, but on my end when I'm around him, I see Fester's 31FG skin, which isn't the default.

He could have screwed up the name of the file, if he downloaded it manually. The extension on the skin file (_1, _2, etc) corresponds to a slot that has a name in it. If he renames it to something else, then he's effectively putting it into the wrong slot.

Did he download it manually, from the links on the DL page?
