This might just be a stab in the dark but try www.dell.com  and check support>downloads for 770 drivers. My old Dell Dimension shipped with DV770 and I know Dell has a number of drivers available for d/l.

Good luck

Thanks DMax. I took the 770 out and put my Voodoo Banshee back in. I looked at some of the other posts in here for TNT2 boards. I checked my power supply and its only 200W. So it looks like I need more power to push this card but its awful strange that I can't even play solitarie with it in there. AH just gives me a white screen and a lockup. FA locks me up. Windows Media Player locks me up. But went back to the old reliable banshee and was flying last night.

I got a gateway cow PII 400 Mhz 256 MB PC100 RAM. Running W98SE, but this maybe the trouble I got DX8. But I couldn't tell cause the DX Diag wouldn't run. Everything said the vid card was working properly that I could check and it said no IRQ conflicts. Well My Desktop looked great   thats all the more graphics I got to see with it

Don't use the drivers for the diamondMM site but the Detonator 3 drivers. I had the same problem and now everything runs faster, smoother and much more stable.

With a 200 watt supply your system is probably current starved and therefore nothing will run, you can pick up 300 watt supplies that are drop ins for a fairly cheap price. When your sys is running on the edge or below and current starvation begins your voltage levels will begin to fall off and with CPU's that are running at 2.5 to 3 volt levels it wont take much to shut it down!
