Secret to the odd MG noise from Shermans!
« on: April 18, 2007, 09:09:07 PM »
Not sure if anybody else caught this yet, but the cause for the odd MG sounds in Shermans is the external smoke grenade sound. If you fire your grenade, it does the "Shoomp!" sound of a grenade. However, when you hear anyone else's grenade launch, it plays the sound of a light MG firing.
A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.

External gun sound is the M2; smoke rounds don't have the tankgun sound. I think we've got a winner.
