A new AH vertical takeoff record
« on: January 19, 2000, 10:32:00 AM »
Last night, after un successfull attempts to lower flaps and landing gear, I ended up belly landing. Just for the hell of it, I pressed the "G" key after the plane had come to a stop and engines were shut off.
To my surprise my buff made a 15m 3 leap skyward. Unforetunately the pilot did not survive and the plane was a total wreak.
I see the bug still hasen't been fixed yet. What was really frustrating, was I had glided nearly 15k to the base, trying to get my alt down and keep my speed down. I had vertually stalled the craft before I belly landed, yet the gear and flaps still would not desend.

Don't take this one as a bug, the ground modelling isn't finished AFAIK.
