That would be a great excuse for me, unfortunately it wasn't so. I was drooling over my kill #16 and totally forgot to scan the skies. And when I saw the tracers all over me, I did literally freeze up instead of reacting in any way.  :ahand Sucks to get old...  :uhoh

Sadly no, just as I predicted would happen last night we found enemy planes... one minute later I was back in the tower.  :(

We did a pretty good job of escorting then as the buffs were almost across the safety barrier we turned back
in a very uncoordinated manner, got separated and I died alone (but very quickly). Such is ... death?  ;)

I don't know what happened! I got discoed, came back in and instead of being put back into the fight my tank and I spawned on top of the tower I was sitting it.

First time this has happened with a tank, it usually does it to my planes after ripping all the wings and control surfaces off of it. It's pretty rare now that I think about it.
