Potato squadron was engaged with the BoB at that time. They wouldn't be transferred to the PTO until they were reequipped with 190F-4's in mid 1942.

Meatball was a bomber squadron you blockhead.

Ah!  Thank you for clearing that one up. :aok

These bomber guys always like flying close to group their firepower together. I think these two were just a liiiiittle too close.  :)

That's ONE!

And, that's TWO!  :devil

This guy is feeling just a little bit more worried now.  :t

Icepac that's awesome.  Did it stay on the train or fall off.  I would guess you landed it with the wind, in the same direction as the train traveled.  Did the tail stay off the ground as the picture shows as the train chugged along?

Thanks for sharing bud  :salute

No matter what, trains, supply convoys, and barges will drive out from under you.

I just let down on it but it's basically flying with wheels touching and a full landing is impossible on such objects.

You only get a moment or two.

I'd like to see the same with a longer spray trail to show riding the waves rather than maybe just ditching slowly, but that is still an upgrade from the rv8
