Battle of Aces started last night at 11PM. As our CO was not logged in, I organized an NOE 190F strike against an Allied ammunition factory.

Mein Scwharm.

The attack begins.

We almost made the whole mission undetected, only 1 P51 came to intercept us RTB.

Landing. No casualties!

Soon after that we had to scramble to meet the Allied buff raid. Another nice schwarm.

We climbed to 35k and intercepted the bomber stream at 30k.

Come, join the Axis for BoA! You can expect adrenaline pumping, exciting, realistic action like this every night!

It's the current AvA setup.

Instead of the old AvA where it was basically a dueling arena with historical planesets, in BoA there are two sides (axis and allies of course) that are organized to reach the goals of the... well, I guess you could call it a scenario, thats going on 24 hours a day.

Theres no base capture. The goal is to pound the other side's strats into nonexistence. By damaging the other sides strats and defending your own you get money. You use that money to place aircraft at airfields. There's no airframe limit, but you have to pay a historical amount to enable an aircraft at a field.

The setup basically makes it so that large scale, high altitude buff raids and other such historical missions are required, making it tons and tons of fun. It's like a 24 hour FSO. If you are interested in flying for the fatherland drop by the AvA forum and ask to be added to the Axis forum.

Nope.
It'd be a good idea to sign up to one side or another, but you don't need to do anything, you can just go in and fly if you honestly want to.

You could rotate sides, but they don't rotate per say. You wouldn't get side forum access if you wanted to switch on a whim.

Damn, that sounds like the best part... It's going to be a hard choice...

The Fatherland needs you! We've been fairly consistently outnumbered.
