The greatest plane in aces high takes off to do battle with the evil rook CV lurking offshore...

When i heard the rooks were coming, I climbed above the clouds. Turns out their CVs don't go that high.  :)

With the candle lit, I run for my life. (I have lots of practice)

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Thank you sir. Those are totally unaltered screenshots direct from my ah film viewer.
My video card is a 9500gt, which is the reason for the quality of the shots.
You can see the pilot wound shots are way less clear. I took them with a bogus Ge7300 video card.
The pilot wound shots were in game (alt s) and the others were from film. That may make a difference as well.

35FG/40FS P-39 skin, "White 23"

And of course, a lil editing couldn't hurt.

No, it wasn't a 109, it was a very maneuverable Tempest, flown by the germans. That had a 30mm tater in the nose, and could out climb anything the allies had
