Freaking Il2's take a lot of punishment. I think I pumped out 200 rounds of 20mm ammunition at this guy to finally bring him down.










I had a great 6 kill sortie (3 tanks, 3 aircraft) and was RTB... when yanksfan came out of nowhere and blasted me :furious

Nice work Bubi, I have trouble with IL2's too. Still haven't found their weak spot!

Edit: Other than the tail, but if you shoot it there, chances are he'll get a ditch since they are so slow.

Well, actually, the two pictures of the rockets hitting are actually two different salvos on the same tank. I never actually killed him but apparently I damaged him enough to get the kill.
