Well the problem is they were originally at 5040x1060 resolution from my three monitor setup. So I cropped off some of the width so they would fit on a normal screen, but the height of the image wasn't changed. The originals were a bit bigger so I guess the board scales them down automatically.

Here's an unedited pic.

Hey that's really cool. I suppose you're using the Matrox TripleHead2Go, been curious about that device for a while but never saw it officially compatible with widescreen resolutions. Opted to go for a single 30" 2560x1600 screen instead. Do you have the digital or anologue version of it and can it handle widescreen resolution on three screens? Edit: You must be using 3 x 1680x1050 panels to get that resolution so I guess there's my answer...

You know I'd recommend using a TrackIR for that setup, would be awesome. ;)

By the way, do you know what the highest resolution it can support is? Is it capable of 3 x 2560x1600?

that is so unfair i really hate you and your three monitors :D

I second that!

I guess that explains the long, narrow screenshots :)

Yeah I'm using the digital version of Triplehead2go. They upgraded the max resolution to 5040x1050 (3x 1680x1050 monitors) somewhat recently and I don't think it will be going any higher for a while due to refresh rate not being able to run at such a high resolution. At 5040x1050 you have to run at 57hz, so any higher res would need a lower refresh rate which would probably be too choppy for gaming.

And you defiantly got to have a Trackir! It's awesome seeing a wall of screen moving in sync with your head.

Youll never see it! It will run too fast and clutter your screen with troops.
