Talk about a close call with a disco! I thought my connection was toast, but apparently I made it just in time!

Edit: No vulches in those 5 either! 2 La-7s, 2 Spitfires (One mk V and one mk XVI) and an N1K, all furballing on the deck.

From the last MOM mission. I was in a 262 trying a head on run through the formation.  Closure rate was a lot faster than I anticipated and overall pretty ineffective. Will have to work on that.

18Whiskey was flying the pony from hell.  Darn thing had afterburner and lasers, he tore my cockpit up. If you could see the pilot(me :D)curled up in a little ball on the seat crying yelling "make the bad man stop!"

Last FSO, I managed a lucky shot and made a sake-bomb  :lol

18Whiskey and his hell pony again.

Nice screen shots jappa.

hey, about a week ago i was in a p51 chasing your 262, i scored many hits from range then disengaged. I remember wondering how lucky that 262 was. Right as i called for RTB you got me. i got the film, it was a good finish S!.

I've been flying the 262 more in the last couple of weeks and am extremely horrible at it.  Either I rip the wings, ram the bombers or fly right past the fighters scaring us both.... Anyway I could see that film?

Posted below is the film link Jappa. Its 10 minutes long as that is the time from when i shoot you full of holes to the time we meet again and you return the favour. Love a fight like that, despite calling you a 'sob 262' on squad channel. (Ps. I take no responsibilty from offence taken to listing to 10 mins of our squad vox)  :rofl

 :rofl :rofl

Squad channel was hilarious!!

I remember that day and have the same vid recorded.  I remember trying to avoid you and Redtop cause ya'll were working very well together. I didn't want to get caught focusing on one of you and have the other sneak up behind. I still don't know how I didn't take any damage from your bursts there in the beginning. You had to hit me a good 30-40 times. Someone in a tempest caught up with me about 2 mins after I tagged ya though.  Fun fights at A1 that day. :rock
