This looks like a screenshot of Fighter Ace. They got the worst flight model but pretty neat graphics.

i like the plane selection alot better on fighter ace, they got every super cool 1st gen jet you can think of
plus the infamous super fortress everyone seems to want so bad here

Did it destroy fighter ace? if not then everyone shouting "It will completly unbalance the game" can just come up with a new objection.

Yeah... Because the fighter ace gameplay dynamics were ANYTHING like Aces High's...

How so? If its just different damage model and how objects are destroyed then it would hardly affect anything. If it was a completly different system (ie different base capture, different requirments to launch A/C, etc.) then OK. But please don't turn this into a B-29 thread...

I didn't. Your claim is faulty. Just because 2 games have WW2 planes doesn't mean they fly or play anything at all like each other. The WB dynamic was totally different, the FA dynamic is WAY off (alien world compared to AH), the "other" flight sims all are totally different in how you fly, fight, and approach the game with other players. Just because one can do "this thing" doesn't mean another could do it with the same results.


Now back to your regularly scheduled screenshots thread.

I never claimed anything of the sort. When did I "claim" anything? All I was asking was if it was just changes to how things are destroyed, and the damage model, or if it was major changes.
