I don't care about your hit %, and sorry if I assumed you fell in with that lot. There were a number of newbies posting about their wonderful tips and tactics (and that was one of them), and this looked like it.

P.S. Using it on the wirb is no less gamey  :aok

Hitech himself, advises to use it :aok

I did make it, it looks worse than it really was. The moment the picture was taken I was still 245 yards away and doing only 236 MPH

He saluted me after, if anything I'm sure he wasn't too happy. But that's what you get when you mess with the Arado! See sig!

Spikes, in ur scrnshot, it looks like you angled the rear cannons, but i thought they only fired straight, correct?

Technically they are aimed a small degree's worth up.

So you CAN NOT aim the rear facing cannons, to be shot down by them you would have to be directly on the high- 6 o clock of the plane, correct?

That's correct. Though it's not hard to get people behind you...gotta kind of bribe them in, get low and slow thinking you are an easy kill on a jet. :)

Nothing special, just a P-51 on the return trip home over an 8K mountain. If anyone wants to take and edit this I wouldn't mind.

Longest drive/semi-flight ever....or it sure felt like it

Damage: Left wing/right engine compliments of Flakkers, Right wing is a Trees fault...

Was a 1 sector trip like that, and a very stressful one at that.

Beautiful!!!

I once managed to (somehow I will never figure out!) pop my gear out at the last second after losing 1 wingtip in a B-25, and with a bounce or two settled down intact, and rolled 5mi to base.

Then there was a time a wirb took my elevators off in an F4U1, and with flaps work I set her down 10mi from the base, and taxiid in to it (which we took by the time I got there!) for a safe landing!!

I like to land my B-25H after I loose a major piece, and drive around looking for the flakers. When I find one, I just apply some brakes to drop my nose and POW! 1 dead flak.  :D
