OK,

Did some testing on optimum approach profiles with the CV. 140 indicated, 135, 120, and 115. See results below.

Wolf, why do you always veer to the right when you apply brakes? Just curious.

You have way more free time than I do, but I enjoyed seeing that it can be done repeatedly.

Anybody have any more lovely P-40 shots?

I don't know if I ever shared this here. I might have posted it (and others) inside the coral sea forums a while back, but I found it on my server and remembered how much I liked it.

Myself and cbizkit, and 1 other friend (I'd have to check to recall whom):

Safe landing after a successful frame!

I'll have to check again - but on the first 2 it had to do with excessive speed and putting a side load on the gear would prevent me from going off the front of the boat.

Okay, so it was intentional.

I didn't know if you had toe brakes on pedals and were jamming one foot more than the other out of habit or something.  :lol

How about mediocre P-40 shots?

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

An oldy but a goody! Getting up close and personal for the kill, then following it down just to watch as it plummets to certain doom!

I spy with my little 88mm eye a tank or more:

Was a fun fight while it lasted but alas, VF15 didn't like me being on their base, I wasn't even camping!  Didn't see them until I turned around and suddenly I was face to face with 3 of em.
