Hehe, yeah  :D. That was a fun furball that night. Was flying with JG11 and almost all of the enemy were in spits!

Yup, skins are enabled. Could only see that last pic, and that 109 is wearing the JG53 skin. Easy to tell by that red stripe around the nose. Interesting story behind those stripes too.

Could ya PM me the story? I'm quite curious  :)

It's my skin :D (Sorry, I'm always proud to see others using them)

According to my research, the Geschwaderkommandore (SP?) married a Jewish woman. As punishment for that, the entire Geschwader was required to paint that red stripe over their nose, RIGHT over their insignia, as a badge of shame. To strike back, JG53 then painted over all their swastika's too, so the aircraft lacked the swastika in real life too.

Well, that narrows down my search on the maker, nice lookin skin  :aok

Indeed an interesting story, definitely not what I was expecting. I never would have expected the stripe to be a mark of shame  :)

Always fun to take up an EW ride in the LW. My hit percentage must have jumped 4 percent from this kill!

I'm enjoying my new gfx cards. Gotta love watching cartoon planes flail around w/o vital components.  :)

EDIT: It seems a lot of quality was lost when uploading to Photobucket. Does anyone know of any way to upload and retain the quality of the original images?

Looks like someone was on the way to Candy Mountain.  :rock
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
