in the third picture it looks like the rod extending out of the left wing is shooting as well  :huh

There was a vulch party going on and all the manned ack was down.  :(   What to do, what to do...
Well, it just so happened that the shore battery could hit the end of the runway.

At 4.0k away, the shells took a while to get there.  Wasn't easy timing the shots with the swooping bad guys.
