thanks! rigth after i took those shots I saw that the quality ios bad and downloaded the latest high res pack. its looking better now... MUCH better
But about the background image... I have seen A LOT of REALLY great screenshots and edited screenshots in these forums.

Whenever I make screenshots my GFX are at maximum. That may be why your screenshots turn out looking the way they look.

the sad thing is that on this pc (my mother's) if i set the efects such as gornd detail distance or object detail to maximum it lags the fps pretty badly ):
