Those flames look great, skorpion. I think you're really getting the hang of this. You should think about submitting a screenshot next time they come around asking for splash screens.

thanks nucks, but if i were to enter any screenshots in, i'd have to take them myself. but the way people are complaining about gameplay, it looks like im not getting back in the game anytime soon.

your using GIMP right?     grab the blur tool and turn down the power of it.....so it slightly blurrs it out....but seriously it does look good and the blurring a bit more is just MO....

yes, i am using gimp, but i dont really like the blurring that much, takes away some of the small details that look better when unblurred.

I think screens look better when both A/C are in focus and it's the ground/sky that's out of focus. Not an absolute, of course, there's plenty you can do to create the effects of varying levels of focus of a camera lens that would look awesome.

About 20 seconds after getting the wheels up, got in a scrap with a SpitIX and was not doing so well.
Then a P-38 shot out my oil and things went downhill...

^ This is the good side.  :)

This side really took a beating.

The evil Spit finally ran out of bbs.
