Excellent Patch-Minor Issue
« on: April 29, 2007, 03:01:43 PM »
First, though I've been critical about how HiTech manages information with the community and some of their game decisions, I've got to say they are crackerjack game designers and programmers.  To my mind, the last patch was rather well done and brought the game up visually to new heights (pun intended).  So Salute HiTech!

The only limiting thing I see so far is I've noticed that seeing an aircraft (the small black dot) at a distance is much more difficult.  In fact, even looking hard for aircraft I can see on the Clipboard Map that are close, I often can't make them out against the ground or even the hazy sky until I see their icon pop.  Has anyone else noticed this too?

It keeps you more on your toes SA-wise, but it would be nice if they could strengthen that visual a bit.  As far as I can tell, it's the same problem looking for GV's at a distance too, even in open ground.

Not a major, major, but would be nice to fix.  Otherwise, exellent job!

Ive noticed that its abit harder too, but i kinda like it. It seems more realistic when its harder to see planes that are far away.
