SandMonkey calls it quits
« on: April 28, 2007, 07:44:39 PM »
A blog of an egyptian that I goto quite regularly has called it quits.  It's really a sad day in the blogsphere becuase this guy injected alot of common sense with western style writing in and about an area that most in the west don't understand.  His blog is here http://www.sandmonkey.org/2007/04/28/done/

He's done alot of storys on the police brutality in Egypt and the fact that another political blogger there is in jail for his writings.  If you have a chance to dive into some of his archives I highly recommend it.

He's an avid Heroes and BSG fan as well.

I'll check that one out when I get a chance. In the mean time, have you looked at "Iraq the model"?

Yup, that's another I go to.  I don't get into commenting too much but I love the "freshness" of the articles and comentary from the authors and such.
