I'd be interested to know if you can get out of AH using Alt-Tab and then back again to a functioning AH?

I can sometimes, but not reliably. Also, it seems that the longer I keep AH minimized, the less chance of it working again.

What are your experiences?

OK, to see if a pattern can be discovered, what system are you using? (Intel or AMD, dual core or not.. should be enough info I think.)

I use AMD Dual Core.

Simple, Hold down alt - tab while at your desktop, yet release "tab" after you press the combination. A list will appear, keep pressing tab until AH is selected, then release alt & tab.

Have no problems with alt-tab, using it all the time and for extendend time periods.

Alt Tab has allowed me to be shot down many times

Amazingly sometimes I alt-tab back in the nick of time.

Ehh.. yes that is what Alt-Tab means..
I'm talking about AH going unresponsive after Alt-Tabing to the desktop.

When i had the NEWest drivers for my Nvidea card..i couldnt do it--downgraded to '66' drivers, it worked fine

Works fine for me but I usually just click on "Aces High" in the taskbar.

I close explorer.exe when playing to prevent hitting the start button on accident and leaving the game. So I use Alt-Tab a lot.
