Well, I've managed to create another girl-baby. So I had to get another boy-dog to maintain Gender harmony in the house.
I have a 4 year old Yellow Lab named Mr. President. You may have heard me explain that the dog will eat ANYTHING, and he will. He had what I like to call an "extended puppyhood" that ended about a month or two ago. Don't get me wrong, he's very well trained by and large and responds very well to commands. But when left to his own devices for too long, he was bound to find trouble (although I think Trouble would find him... had him on Speed-dial I think).
Anyhow, the Pres has spent the day getting to know his new room-mate, Boomer. Boomer is a German Shepard Mix that we rescued from the local Shelter. I think the Pres has aged about five years since this morning. Boomer has spent the better part of the day "Hearding" Mr. President around the house. I'm a bit worried that the Pres is going to issue an executive order tonight, and Boomer will be deployed to the coast of Kamchatka.
Dear Lord, I love these damn dogs. It puzzles me how easy it is to fall for Animals. I really can't wait for Boomer to get some size to him.
