My mic and left ear went out on my headset so now Im looking for a new one. I like the Altec Lansing AHS615 3D and am thinking about geting one on  ebay. Anyone have a better one?

I have a Sennheiser PC150 Pro Gaming Headset. Compusa 59.99. Works great.

I saw in a previous post Llama suggested the Medusa 5.1 surround headphones. A bit pricy at 120.00 or so, but probably the best for gaming.

If I had to buy another pair I would go with the Medusa 5.1. The reviews are real good and support Llama.

Good luck

I have a LTB USB 5.1 headset.. sounds wild... completely changed my AH experience!

I think I paid $79 for it about a year and a half ago.

Mic is crystal clear....  still works great!

I like over ear headsets IMO they have better sound quality. I used to have the cheapos but they break way to easy I was buying one every few months. My old Altec Lansings lasted over 2 1/2 years. Almost as long as my joystick.

I'm using a Plantronics set I picked up at Circuit City. Model designation escapes me at the moment, but it was 30 or 40 bucks and it's been fantastic. Far more comfortable than any of my past sets, nice soft ear cups, wide band, great sound.

Just got them about an hour ago. All I can say is WOW!!! They are kinda big but the great sound makes up for it.
