Training Clinics for May

Here is a list of clinics by the AH Training Corps. scheduled for the remainder of May.
All are in the Training Arena and players should change to Bishops, if not already.
All times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
Please check the Training Calendar for any changes or additions.

May 7 (Monday) 8:30 - 9:30 pm. Basic Flight (Trainer: hammer)
A beginner's class covering selecting a plane, configuring its fuel and weapons, take off and landing at an airfield, and some basic maneuvers.

You must have your controllers or mouse set up before this clinic. We will not spend time setting up controllers. You must also be able to tune your radio to a designated vox and text channel.

May 10 (Thursday) 9:00 - 11:00 pm. 12 O'Clock High! (Trainer: Rolex)
Blowing stuff up with style. A complete guide to heavy bombers including: basic flight, herding drones, optimizing views, planning route and egress, calibration/salvo/delay tips and gunnery.

You must have a working controller and rudimentary knowledge of the game. Suitable for basic through advanced-level players.

Training Arena > Bishop > Field A1 > Tune 111 vox.

May 14 (Monday) 8:30 - 9:30 pm. Basic Flight (Trainer: hammer)
See above.

May 17 (Thursday) 9:00 - 11:00 pm. Carrier Takeoff and Landing Instruction (Trainer: Widewing)
Learn how to operate aircraft from carriers. Learn how to get airborne when fully loaded. Learn to land on a carrier.
Meet at A4 for brief discussion before moving to a Carrier. Vox is 104.

May 21 (Monday) 8:30 - 9:30 pm. Basic Flight (Trainer: hammer)
See above.

May 29 (Tuesday) 9:00 - 11:00 pm. Stick & Rudder (Trainer: Rolex)
An introduction to Basic Flight Maneuvers (BFM), the terminology and how to perform 8 basic maneuvers. You must have a working controller and rudimentary knowledge of the game. Suitable for basic through intermediate-level players.
