This thread is amusing. The kids may be incompetent pilots, but they have a great excuse: they're kids.

What's the excuse for all the older guys who auger heavy La7s into radar, or suicide divebomb B24s into an FH while leaving 3 others up, or up nothing but 51s and make laughable passes and extend to 6k only to do it again, and call it dogfighting? Firing from 1k out, knowing no ACM but 'HO, extend, HO again', and being laughably timid are also honorable mentions.

It's funny, I've noticed that generally, the teenagers have the most passion for learning how to properly dominate the skies, whereas if an older guy stinks he's usually satisfied with it.
