USB Headset/mic help
« on: May 04, 2007, 11:05:51 AM »
I just picked up a usb headset/mic (TRI-UA512 :: AXPC GAMING HEADPHONES).  I installed all the drivers and it works fine... but no one can hear me in game.  I can hear myself through my speakers and headphones, as well as record voice in windows voice recorder.  I made sure all of my other drivers were up to date also.

Using the "wave in" option causes me to ctd when I speak.  That is the only other symptom I can find at the moment.

I have so far.

1. Tried it in other usb ports.
2. Made sure the mic was not muted anywhere
3. Maxed out all of the mic volumes
4. Uninstalled and reinstalled the drives
5. Updated all my other drivers
6. Disabled my other sound card

And any combination of the above.

Any ideas of what I should try next?
